The Pima South Region is defined as the southern portion of Pima County, not including the lands belonging to the Pascua Yaqui Tribe and the Tohono O’odham Nation, plus a small part of Santa Cruz County around the Amado community.

Priorities

The Pima South Regional Partnership Council makes strategic investments to support the healthy development and learning of the young children in the region. The regional council’s priorities include:

  • Providing access to quality health care coverage and services
  • Scholarships for young children to access high-quality child care
  • Helping families with young children to access supports and services
  • Increasing early childhood community partnerships to serve young children and families
