On Thursday, June 1st, Author David Campiche will be reading from his new novel, Black Wing. Doors to the Lovell Showroom open at 6pm with food and drinks available via the Taproom window. All ages welcome and never a cover.
The novel is ten years in the writing. The story unfolds in the wilderness of British Colombia at the end of the 19th century. Rich in pioneer characters and the Haisla First Peoples—including a Native Shaman named Black Wing—the writing travels through time into our own century. A must-read, it deals with both historical moments and relevant issues facing us today.
