Back by popular demand, Sunday is Growler Day, an opportunity to bring home your favorite beers from the fest. That is to say if your favorite is still pouring! Be sure to vote for the “People’s Choice” award, and drink up for the “Thar She Blows” award, a clean sweep for Fort George last year.
Another feature of this year’s Brewcup is the Home Brew Competition. Sponsored by Hondo’s Brew and Cork, The Home Brew Cup will be judged on Monday, September 26th. Pre-registration must be filed by September 8th. Registration forms can be obtained from Hondo’s Brew and Cork, Fort George Brewery. Visitors to the Brew Cup should park at the East end of the Maritime Museum Parking lot. Walk to the water, take a right. We’ll be there.

MARITIME OPEN HOUSE
The Maritime Museum who is hosting parking for the Brew Cup will open their doors to the public on Saturday, September 24th from 1:00-4:00. If you haven’t checked out the Maritime Museum, here is your chance to take the tour for free. It is most definitely worth it!
HOMEBREW CONTEST
Hondo’s Brew and Cork will be sponsoring the HomeBrew Cup on Monday September 26th. Pre-Registration ends September 8th for entrants. This event is open to the public, so come out and support your local brewers. (Hondo’s also has a great tap selection and tons of great canned/bottled craft beer for sale.)
