Lycosa

Spiders are good luck for breweries, especially Fort George. You can find Cavatica Stout (cavatica is the Latin name for our average brewery spider) around the Pacific Northwest year round, but Lycosa (the Latin name for a wolf spider) has a bigger bite.

With deep, satisfying sweetness and a dark, rich fruit aroma, Lycosa is a heavy lifter from start to finish and has never skipped a leg day.

Appearance: Black as night with deep mahogany edge. Thick, off-white foam.

Aroma: Fudge, graham cracker, dark fruit, barrel char.

Flavor: Dark chocolate, maple, vanilla and rich caramel. Richly sweet, barely bitter.
