Fort George’s Rotating Seasonal Lager Series was designed to bring a new, refreshing lager into every season and no lager style is better suited to fall on the North Coast than the Vienna Lager. With toasty malts, a low, soothing sweetness and a balanced, clean finish, you might as well be drinking the lager equivalent of a wool sweater, a thermos of strong tea, and the sound of the ships in the shipping channel blasting their fog warnings in the morning mist.
Appearance: Clear, deep gold. White foam.
Aroma: Fresh biscuit, toffee, and a mild noble hop character.
Flavor: Toasty cracker, caramelized sugar, hints of cinnamon-like sweetness balanced with a very slight bitterness.
