OATMEAL PALE ALE: Soothes agony of defeat, bolsters thrill of victory

You couldn’t have asked for better conditions at the 2012 Cape Kiwanda Longboard Classic.  The waves were 3-5 feet and peeling all weekend.  Fort George attended with a few of our very own in the line-up: Jason Oei, Ginnette Marberry and Sunrise Oatmeal Pale Ale.  Jason stuck the drop on a beautiful head high peak during his second heat and proceeded to regulate in the finals, walking away with 1st place in the men’s division.  Ginnette was, unfortunately, crushed by some tough competition – ouch!  In both cases, however, Sunrise Oatmeal Pale Ale was 1st choice – soothing the agony of defeat and bolstering the thrill of victory.  Way to go you guys!  Check out video of the 2012 Cape Kiwanda Longboard Classic posted online by Moment Surf Company @ www.momentsurfco.com.
