North Coast Food Web presents: “Food is Morale: Stories of Feeding the Crew on USCG Ships

Thursday, May 27th, we present, “Food Is Moral: Stories Of Feeding The Crew On USCG Ships” where Astoria-based Coast Guard, Rich Pedersen, will talk about what it’s like to manage food service aboard ships. Tune in at Fort George’s Facebook page at 7 p.m., when a FB Live event will pop up for viewing.

Learn how crews are fed on Coast Guard ships, as told by a chef who cooks for them. For our last talk of the season, US Coast Guard Culinary Specialist 1st Class Rich Pedersen, who is based here in Astoria, will regale us with stories of food on the high seas.
